Cycle 2...totally sucked ass!!
Hi fellow bloggers....Susie here. OK so I'm doing the 17 Day Diet and did VERY well on the first Cycle. So I'm thinking that maybe I found the diet that works really well for me and was totally excited going into the next cycle. Let me recap....first cycle you eat a lot of lean protein (chicken, turkey, egg whites), fresh veggies and fresh fruit and lots of water. You exercise at least 17 min per day. So we ended the first cycle with a weight loss of 14 lbs. So I start planning my menu and grocery list for the next cycle and my husband and daughter both start COMPLAINING about eating MORE chicken. So just to make them happy I made a couple of dishes without chicken....spaghetti, enchiladas, tacos, hamburgers & pizza. Are they happy, probably, am I.....NO. I started cycle 2 and ended up gaining 3 freaking pounds. I don't know how anyone else is but once I trail off I have a hard time getting back on track!! So I started over & told myself cycle 2 sucked ass!! So today I stepped on the scale and I'm back down to 14 pounds gone. What really gets me is it takes forever to come off but so quickly to come back on!! Hopefully this next week will be better and I will have another loss.....not gain!! Good luck to everyone :)

Ready for Cycle 2!!
Good morning everyone!! So I have been doing the 17 day diet for 16 days now and lost a total of 14lbs!!! I have to admit last week when I weighed myself I was up 1 lb and totally bumming about it but figured it was due to a lot of sodium intake. I had a lot of canned veggies last week and didn't realize how much sodium is in the whole can!! So trying to eat only fresh veggies or frozen. The next step for this diet is entering lean meat and different kinds of veggies every other day. So bring on cycle 2!!! Good luck to everyone getting healthy in 2011!!

New journey for 2011
Hello...Susie Frank here. I have been on and off diets for the past 16 yrs. I have tried Richard Simmons deal a meal....failed, Weight Watchers both meetings & online.....failed, no carb diet.....failed. So for 2011 I'm trying the 17 day diet and basically for the 1st 17 days all you eat is poultry, fish, veggies, and fruit and exercise at least 17 minutes a day. There is no weighing or measuring, you just eat until you are full. Sounds easy enough....right!! Well in one weeks time I have lost 10 lbs!!! I feel better, I have more energy, I sleep better at night and I don't have that going to explode feeling!!
